HIPS

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is both a support material for ABS and a standalone filament. It's known for being lightweight and paintable, with decent strength and stiffness.

Unique Features: Can be dissolved in limonene, making it an excellent support material for complex ABS prints. It's also lightweight and easy to paint.
Ideal Use Case: Used as dissolvable supports for ABS models or for making lightweight, sturdy objects like models or cosplay items.
Additional Components: For use as a support material, a dual extruder printer is necessary. Printing standalone objects does not require special components beyond a heated bed.
