Original Prusa Core One Assembled
View it live in-store
The CORE One is a 3D printing workhorse engineered in the proven Prusa tradition. Designed with a "made to last" philosophy and made from premium materials, the CORE One offers exceptional reliability with minimal maintenance. The enclosed chamber, capable of reaching up to 55 °C, features active temperature control for high-quality printing across a wide range of materials from PLA and PETG (even with the door closed) to more demanding materials like ASA, PC, or Nylon.

Plug and print!
10 minutes from unpacking to first print
Unpack the printer, perform a one-time calibration, and you’re ready to go. Equipped with advanced sensors for hassle-free printing, the CORE One is a true “start and forget” machine. Simply start your print and let the printer handle the rest, from fully automatic first-layer calibration to pausing the print and sending a notification if the filament runs out.

Flawless precision
Outstanding print quality thanks to the Nextruder
You can be sure that with our internally developed, quality-focused print profiles, your models will turn out exactly the way they were designed, with perfect dimensional accuracy. CORE One takes advantage of the upgraded Nextruder with 360° cooling that enables flawless printing of 75° overhangs, saving both time and material.

Maximum speed without a catch
The CORE One is fast with every filament, not just specialized ones
Don’t limit your projects with a small selection of specialized “high-speed” filaments. Use any PLA, PETG or any of the advanced materials. While the CORE One is our fastest printer yet thanks to its robust CoreXY kinematics, high-flow nozzle, Input Shaper and factory-tuned print profiles for 200+ filaments, it never sacrifices quality for quicker print times.
Compact footprint, large volume
The perfect fit for any home, workplace or print farm
The Prusa CORE One takes up 50% less space than the MK4S inside an enclosure, yet it delivers an impressive 30% increase in print volume. Space efficiency matters - even for us! With a massive 3D print farm of over 600 machines, the CORE One's compact footprint and optimized design let us fit even more printers into the same space and boost our production.
The best solution for advanced materials
Print durable functional models easily and without warping!
The chamber is as compact as possible, with a cleverly designed recess on each side to minimize its volume. This allows the chamber to quickly reach higher temperatures (up to 55°C), enabling you to print ASA, ABS, PC, PA (Nylons), and other advanced materials smoothly, without warping. The automatic ventilation system and active temperature control enable flawless printing of PLA - even with the door completely closed!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What makes the Prusa CORE One different from other printers like the MK4S or Bambu Lab X1C/X1E?
A: The Prusa CORE One stands out with a CoreXY motion system, enclosed heated chamber (up to 55°C), and premium industrial-grade design. Compared to the MK4S, it’s faster, quieter, and handles engineering-grade materials like ASA and Nylon without warping. Unlike Bambu Lab printers, it offers complete offline functionality, deeper customization, and is fully made in the EU with support for open-source mods and firmware.
Q: Is the Prusa CORE One beginner-friendly?
A: Yes, the CORE One is very beginner-friendly. With automatic first-layer calibration, intuitive PrusaSlicer software, and a one-time setup process, even first-time users can achieve great results. Prusa Academy and Printables.com make learning easy, and 3D Printer Gear offers local support and training.
Q: Why is the Prusa CORE One good for printing advanced materials?
A: Thanks to its enclosed chamber with active temperature control (up to 55°C), the CORE One is ideal for demanding materials like ASA, PC, ABS, and Nylon. The chamber heats quickly, prevents warping, and allows for successful printing of technical parts without additional upgrades.
Q: Does the Prusa CORE One support multi-material printing?
A: Yes, it supports the MMU3 (Multi-Material Upgrade) for up to five filaments. This enables full-color models, soluble supports, or mixing rigid and flexible materials in one print. The system reduces filament waste and transitions are managed cleanly with a compact wipe tower.
Q: Can I manage the printer remotely?
A: Yes. The CORE One works with Prusa Connect and the Prusa App for full remote management and print monitoring. An optional internal USB-C camera is also available for remote viewing. It connects via Ethernet or the included Wi-Fi module.
Q: Can I use the Prusa CORE One completely offline?
A: Absolutely. The printer can be used entirely offline for security-conscious environments. Firmware updates, slicing, and printing can be done via USB. The Wi-Fi module is detachable, and no internet connection is required.
Q: Is the CORE One easy to maintain or upgrade?
A: Yes. The printer’s modular design allows everything to be disassembled with standard tools. No glue, no proprietary fasteners. It’s built for modders, and you can upgrade or repair components yourself. There’s also support for accessories like GPIO boards and advanced filters.
Q: What’s included with the CORE One?
A: The assembled package includes the Prusa CORE One 3D Printer, 1kg of Prusament PLA (Galaxy Black), Smooth PEI print sheet, USB with G-code samples, a 3D Printing Handbook, alcohol wipes, and an acupuncture needle.
Q: Why buy the CORE One from 3D Printer Gear instead of direct from Prusa?
